Drift and Cast was born from a deep love of the sea, the shoreline, and the quiet rhythm of life along the Cornish coast. We're a small, independent brand creating premium art and lifestyle products that capture the raw beauty of coastal landscapes — from the rugged cliffs of Cornwall to the dramatic shores of Iceland.
Every design we create is a celebration of the places that move us: the early morning mist over a tidal estuary, the glint of light on a river at dusk, the worn texture of a fishing boat hull. These are the moments we try to hold onto — and share.
The Founder
Drift and Cast is the work of Tony Portas, a passionate angler and lover of wild, coastal places. Tony has spent years exploring the rivers, estuaries, and coastlines of Cornwall and beyond, finding inspiration in the landscapes that most people pass through but rarely stop to truly see.
That passion for place — and for the art of fishing — is at the heart of everything Drift and Cast creates. It's not just about the catch. It's about the light on the water, the smell of salt air, and the stillness of a morning on the river.
Our Design Philosophy
We believe great design should feel honest. Our aesthetic is earthy, considered, and rooted in the natural world — warm tones, textured surfaces, and compositions that breathe.
